1.0
Release — 29 August 2026
This release improves logbook accuracy and compliance workflows across imports, aircraft classification, licence progress, ratings, and exports. It also adds clearer type-rating and eligibility information while making several aviation records and reminders more reliable.
New5
- New NZ ATPL(A) and ATPL(H) licence packs are available with requirements based on AC61-7 Revision 26
- Type-rating records now show authorisations, hours logged across covered aircraft types, and whether a rating is currently exercisable
- CAA 1373 exports now include an aircraft type-ratings register with issuance details, covered types, and applicable notice information
- The logbook supports Robinson R22 and R44 safety-training reminders, including a clear warning when a held rating cannot currently be exercised
- Imported logbooks can now carry flight rules and recorded time splits through to committed entries
Improvements5
- Licence progress and automatic sign-off suggestions now credit only flights from the aircraft category covered by the licence pack
- Helicopter flights are no longer placed into single-engine or multi-engine aeroplane columns, and exports explain when those columns do not apply
- Type-rating and eligibility checks now use the aircraft's recognised designations, reducing false no-match results when logbook and rating names differ
- The rating picker now shows only rating types belonging to the current aviation authority
- Imported time-bucket splits are retained during recalculation unless the underlying total or source data changes
Fixes10
- Dry-run logbook recalculation no longer changes aircraft metadata or other production records
- Imported IFR, PIC, SIC, and other recorded time columns are now credited using the values entered in the source logbook
- Flight-rule columns are automatically mapped during imports, and unreadable values are reported instead of being silently treated as VFR
- Aircraft and LogTen imports no longer fail on flights without departure or arrival aerodromes
- Cloud backups now detect pilot identity changes such as a corrected licence number and upload the updated bundle
- Magic-link sign-in now returns pilots to valid deep links after authentication
- The crew picker keeps the requesting user visible even when many other people match the search
- Signer coverage warnings are now visible on endorsements and cannot be changed after signing
- Dashboard reminders now render the barred status correctly instead of failing for affected helicopter pilots
- CAA 1373 rating rows now show Barred when any covered aircraft type cannot currently be exercised, including which type is affected
