Release — 8 September 2026

This release brings a more capable flight planner and a clearer OCR logbook review workflow. It also improves calendar synchronisation reliability and gives instance staff better operational visibility and workspace administration tools.

  • Review scanned logbook pages in a dedicated workspace with row filters, detailed flight strips, a zoomable paper view, scan-line calibration, crew suggestions and a page map
  • See OCR import progress as a batch pipeline, with clear uploading, queued, reading and ready stages plus an indicator when processing is active
  • Create and edit planned flights from a compact calendar popover, including their dates, times, route, aircraft and notes

  • Concurrent OCR uploads now respect the free page allowance, and retakes cannot race an active scan or leave the review grid stale
  • Planner edits now preserve the correct flight and timezone when switching events or clocks, and concurrent reschedules no longer overwrite one another
  • Calendar synchronisation now updates ordinary flight edits and cancellations promptly, removes events pilots have cancelled after entitlement lapses, and keeps invited pilots and club-linked flights in sync
  • Calendar reconnects and remote changes now preserve existing events more reliably, avoid duplicate calendars, and recover from provider or sync failures without losing pending updates
  • Pricing surfaces now describe the annual Pro offer consistently as two months free and no longer show an undefined saving label

  • The inherited Plane telemetry phone-home and its related settings have been removed; Pilot Lab support chat remains available independently

Release — 31 August 2026

This release improves dashboard layout persistence and consistency for pilots. Saved widget arrangements now survive reloads, and layout-based ordering avoids conflicting sources of truth while preserving keyboard arrangement where it remains supported.

This release includes a breaking change.

This release improves the logbook import and export experience, adds safer account erasure and sharing workflows, and strengthens protection for pilot data. It also includes fixes that make imports, exports, settings, and integrations more reliable.

This release improves logbook accuracy and compliance workflows across imports, aircraft classification, licence progress, ratings, and exports. It also adds clearer type-rating and eligibility information while making several aviation records and reminders more reliable.
