1.4.0

v1.4.0

This release makes flight logging more accurate and flexible, with flying profiles, better FR24 suggestions, clearer duration settings, and editable opening totals. Clubs also gain paper-ready check-out sheets, stronger booking and fleet workflows, richer member and instructor tools, and more reliable finance, reports, notices, and mailing controls.

New20
  • Create named flying profiles with default pilot position and operating rule, then switch profiles directly while drafting a flight
  • Mark a flight as pilot flying or pilot monitoring, using the selected profile's default position
  • Enter, adjust, delete, and review the change history of manual opening logbook totals from Settings
  • Choose one-place decimal hours, two-place decimal hours, or H:mm for duration display, with one-place decimals now used by default
  • Use local departure dates and estimated block time when applying supported FR24 flights
  • Use FR24 gate events for block time where those events are available
  • Search suggested flights by flight number, see more suggestions and aircraft details, and preserve the planned destination when a flight diverts
  • Return a draft airline flight as a new leg with departure and arrival exchanged
  • Build and manage club check-out sheet designs with versions, digital forms, QR codes, printing, completed-paper photos, transcription, and paper decisions
  • Club staff can view student training plans, debrief-linked flight summaries and tracks, shared documents, medical validity, reports, notes, and richer student profile details
  • Instructors can start lessons from Instruct, opening the briefing and marking the lesson as started
  • Club Training now uses the licence pack with club additions, curriculum views, lesson libraries, and progress matrices
  • Club members can use saved directory views, filters, pagination, row selection, bulk email, groups, and last-flight details
  • Clubs can control access to member accounts, documents, notes, and records through dedicated privacy permissions
  • Fleet maintenance schedules can be signed off with a return-to-service reason and a visible maintenance history
  • Club Sales supports account opening balances, credit limits, account status, club currency, safer money entry, and unpriced-flight handling
  • Club reports now include a broader catalogue of flight, training, workload, debrief, sign-off, inactivity, and category information
  • Club notices can be edited, show author and age information, and require confirmation before deletion
  • Clubs can manage mailing consent and suppressions, with working unsubscribe links and protected opt-outs
  • Club staff management now includes a unified instructor definition, roster clash checks, staff removal, and clearer staff and fleet loading and error states
Improvements2
  • Maintenance thresholds, progress indicators, alerts, aircraft total time, and fleet loading and error states now reflect the club's configured data more accurately
  • Club reports and dashboard date ranges now follow the club's time zone and identify capped results instead of silently presenting incomplete data
Fixes13
  • Replacing an incorrectly applied suggested flight now clears the previous flight data cleanly and can prefill departure and arrival runways
  • Runway edits are no longer lost when made immediately after changing an airport
  • Imported logbook entries now use written totals correctly when determining whether they can be finalized
  • Flight-provider errors are no longer shown directly to pilots
  • Check-out sheets now retain the printed version, apply decisions to the relevant rules, and use consistent local dates and 24-hour times
  • Large structured logbook imports now run in background jobs instead of timing out in the browser, with a scrollable review table and flight validation before import
  • Sales balances, outstanding totals, ageing, ledger dates, reversals, and repeated payments now produce more accurate and consistent results
  • Notice boards now order recent notices correctly, handle local times consistently, and distinguish a failed load from an empty board
  • Club mailing now restricts recipient information and test sends, sanitizes message content, validates sender configuration, and verifies delivery webhooks
  • Club bookings now enforce configured booking permissions, instructor availability, flight and member type rules, required pre-flight checks, and approval actions
  • Bookings no longer create blank personal logbook drafts before a flight has been flown
  • Club dashboards refresh their operational data, show accurate totals, support inline pending-booking actions, and provide clearer loading and failure states
  • Failed club and Instruct data requests no longer appear as misleading empty states, and club dates consistently use the club's configured time zone
